Make America Rock Again Tour Review

The Make America Rock Again Bout Rocks The Corbin Arena In Eastern KY

Every bit someone who grew up loving the music of the tardily 90's and early 2000's, I knew right abroad I had to embrace this tour. With artists such as Adelitas Manner, Trapt, Sick Puppies, Drowning Puddle, and Creed frontman Scott Stapp, this testify was spring to be a boom from my past and rock the Corbin Arena.

I arrived but as fans were lining up outside, hearing all of them go over what songs they were dying to hear from their favorite artists. Many were wanting to hear "Headstrong" past Trapt, while others looked forward to hearing "Going Down" from Sick Puppies and their newest fellow member, Bryan Scott. This fan and photojournalist was stoked for all that and more than! Including the ever recognized phonation of a generation in Scott Stapp.

Adelitas Way 3 (1 of 1)

Once gaining entry into the arena on top of this eastern Kentucky hill in Corbin, I fabricated my way down to the show floor and approached the phase to begin setting up. Greeting united states was Adelitas Way, gearing up for a night of rock and scroll! They made us all feel invincible with their biggest hitting "Invincible." They would allow everyone know that Adelitas Way would return to this venue again very soon!

Trapt 3 (1 of 1)

Next to the Make America Rock Again Stage would be Trapt. Anthem after anthem would spill out from the speakers as lead singer Chris Brown charged upwards the evidence an extra notch. From the sound of it, Trapt was letting the attendees know they were not to be overlooked and they were withal very much a serious ring.

Trapt 6 (1 of 1)

Plowing through a short simply fulfilling prepare list, the veteran rockers cranked out the hits and even some many had forgotten, just not anymore.

Sick Puppies 2 (1 of 1)

As stagehands began to burn off the gear and equipment from Trapt, soon the stage would be taken by a band few in numbers but not in forcefulness. Sick Puppies would introduce themselves with fire and fury every bit the trio, including new frontman Bryan Scott, greeted anybody with fists held high and riffs blazing.

Sick Puppies 14 (1 of 1)

Nosotros all felt the basis milkshake as the octane filled tunes were cranked out and thunderous bass playing from bassist Emma Anzai and killer drumming from Mark Goodwin. I of my favorites was even played, "Withal."

As Sick Puppies prepare ended another band would soon have the stage and allow the bodies hit the flooring. That's right, Drowning Pool was next and with singer Jasen Moreno at the captain. We all were going to striking the floor! Drowning Pool has seen their fair of changes and progression but the style things are going for these Texas metalheads; they'll exist sticking effectually for quite some fourth dimension.

Drowning Pool 9 (1 of 1)

From the opening of their ready we all knew to hold on and buckle up. From dizzying guitar playing from CJ Pierce to searing vocals out of Jasen Moreno, this was a heck of a operation that even took to the crowd in the stands and in the pit with their closing song and anybody's favorite metal vocal "Bodies."

Drowning Pool 3 (1 of 1)

This one was a sweaty and adrenaline filled prepare from these vets!

Scott Stapp 43 (1 of 1)

The time had come for a small suspension as the stage cleared for the phonation we all know past hearing information technology, Scott Stapp. The lights went dark and the fans grew excited every bit the notes to "Bullets" played throughout the Eastern Kentucky Loonshit in Corbin.

Scott Stapp 45 (1 of 1)

Scott Stapp striking the phase with a ferocity that some didn't know he had anymore. Vocally and stage presence, this was the Scott Stapp that we all knew from the late 90's/early 2000's, however there is a new life and energy in this man that burns deep.

Scott Stapp 36 (1 of 1)

Scott Stapp is digging into his music with a new plant appreciation for it and his fans. He indeed greeted us all with arms wide open and took u.s.a. higher than the massive hill the Corbin Arena saturday upon. Fifty-fifty bringing his solo material to the stage which rocked!

Scott Stapp 30 (1 of 1)

Nosotros all relived the hits, fifty-fifty the new ones, and we were all reminded that Scott Stapp is hither to stay and is very much back in his prime number. After the grit had settled I was able to briefly catch up with Aussie rockers Sick Puppies to discuss their electric current tour and fifty-fifty go a couple got fist bumps and let them know what Shutter 16 Magazine is up to this twelvemonth!

Sick Puppies 13 (1 of 1)

"We always appreciate the photos and manufactures, it keeps united states of america looking cooler than nosotros actually are," said Bryan Scott. I made sure they knew that an article would be only a bear upon how absurd and downwards to world these three are. Before heading home however I was granted a special privilege and had a take chances to greet the human himself, Scott Stapp. We shared a few laughs and I was even immune to geek out momentarily  and thank him for his music every bit it was very much an integral part of my childhood, and how it still holds upwardly.

Stapp 10 (1 of 1)

"Thank yous so much for that, it never gets old to hear you've touched someone'southward life with your music," said Stapp. Humble, and appreciative we both parted ways and had a moment I truly won't forget. Catch the Brand America Stone Over again Tour before it's also belatedly!
